Day 192: Party Rock
Iyah's Pomeranian spent the day at our house. We never had a dog before so we were all taking turns playing with Party. Found it kinda weird and funny how my parents were treating it like a baby. I'm so not used to having my dad go "a-coochie-coochie-coo" to anything. Haha. I think we need to have a dog.

Day 194: Banananana
Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.
Kailangan ko ng isang piling. Haha.

Day 196: Pass On The Smile
Because we love surfing the sidewalks, we had to have another pair of Sidewalk Surfers from Sanuk. Franz got the Pick Pocket in brown and I got the Laurel in beige. As a bonus, they gave us a pair of Distortion flip flops, which originally costs Php1490, for just one peso! Fur Real?! Haha.

Day 197: Varekai
Watched Varekai by Cirque du Soleil at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. Thought we would have a hard time finding the venue but it's hard to miss the blue and yellow Grand Chapiteau.
The show was loosely based on the story of Icarus who lost his wings after flying too close to the sun. But instead of drowning in the sea, he lands in a magical forest filled with colorful creatures that jump and fly and flex and bend like they've no bones! Hehe.
My favorite part was the "Flight of Icarus" where Icarus performed dramatic aerial acts in a net that held him captive. And of course, the heart-stopping finale where there were two giant Russian Swings and acrobats being hurled up in the air. Talaga nga naman, ako'y napapa-ayyyy! Hahaha.
It was a really great show that deserved a standing ovation. *clap-clap*

Day 198: Kulasa Ako
After nearly a decade, I once again set foot on my highschool campus. Not for the alumni homecoming coz my barkada won't be coming (Huhu). My mom had a food booth, which started last Friday and I decided to come along during her pull-out. Except for the swimming pool, which I didn't get a chance to see, nothing much have changed. Gate 3 and Gate 7 looked the same. I could still picture myself as a Grade 2 student crying near the guard post coz I thought Kuya Manny, our service driver, left without me. Hehe. The old gym, the new gym, the chapel, the canteen, the quadrangle, apart from the paint job, everything stayed the same. Even the rubber tree is still there, standing firm near the "tadpole" pond. Hehe.
Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see some of my former teachers. I only saw Sister Gabby from afar and Ms. Elaine with her hubby and daughter. Hmmm, pwede na! Hahaha.
