Day 60: Paalam Sugarfree
For the very last time, watched Sugarfree perform live at their farewell concert in Eastwood City. It was a bittersweet send-off for Ebe Dancel who decided to quit the band after signing a solo deal with a different record label.
"Ito na ang gabing di malilimutan..."
The band opened their set with "Prom". Got goosebumps when Ebe sang those lines and I knew that this really is a night I won't forget. Former drummer, Mitch Singson, once again picked up his sticks for the Sugarfree classic "Telepono". I remember singing the lines, "Hello? Hello? Hellooooo?!" to prank callers many years back. Hehe.
Shamelessly, I'll admit that I got teary-eyed at one point during the concert. Rain poured down the entire night, almost as if the sky was crying with us.
And this is one breakup that really broke my heart. :(
Sugarfree: 1999-2011. Thank you for sharing your wonderful music to the world. Thank you for providing many of the best songs to the soundtrack of my life. Your music will live on and will forever remain in my iPod. Hehe. \m/(-_-)\m/

Day 62: Monochromatic Tiles
Went to Dusit Thani for the Cloud Expo after-party where I enjoyed a serving of pretzel and a glass of mango juice. Haha.

Day 63: Why Do You Build Me Up?
Got these bags of Reese's mini cups from Cands last week (Thanks Kandisu!). Had no plans of eating it until I fully recover from my cough. But thanks to my officemates, they opened a bag and helped themselves to a sweet treat! Haha. Nweiz, was touched at their thoughtfulness to leave some for me, which I ate with my cereals. Sarap! =P~

Day 64: Huling Hirit
Watched the 4th leg of the PyroMusical competition with Derick and JM. This time without a comfortable seat and a fancy dinner, but it was fun just the same. Hehe. Small world, eh?
It was kinda drizzling so the show was delayed 30 minutes. Better than the show being canceled, right? So no biggie. At around 7:30, Japan showed off their pyrotechnics. They had a lot of uniquely shaped fireworks like hearts, spirals, smileys and one that looked like a bear or a bunny or a Hello Kitty without the whiskers, I dunno. Hehe.
There was an hour break before Canada's turn. Took this chance to grab something to eat before having dinner with the others. Had an all-meat shawarma at the foodcourt. Hehe. Small world, eh?
We were still at the foodcourt when we started hearing the fireworks explosions. Rushed to the parking lot to catch Canada's entry. This time, we weren't able to get a decent view of the fireworks. A building was blocking half of the sky stage. Pero ok lang. Didn't feel like squeezing myself into the crowd anyway.
Went back to the foodcourt to meet Jhe and Egie. Cands texted us to meet them in front of Hypermarket. Haha. Small world, eh?
Me: "Sinusundan nio ba ako?!"
Mom: "Baka ikaw, kami kaya nauuna sayo!"
Good point. Hehe.
Off to Resorts World Manila for dinner. It was a luxurious place filled with a lot of beautiful people. Hehe. Wanted to whip out my camera to take pictures of its interior but decided against it. Had dinner at Red Crab where we had a seafood feast. JM saw Patrick and Cheska Garcia near the entrance of Opus bar. But when Jhe and I took a look, they were no longer there. Sayang, it would've been a dream come true. Pero ok lang. Nakita ko naman si Jeffrey Tam. Nyaha.
Checked-in at Marriott hotel after dinner. Watched some TV, drank some Tanduay Ice, chatted until the sun came up. Mga adik. @_@
